I purchase almost all my manga from my comic store because of the US price. It's unfortunate though that many don't have access to such stores and buying from large department-type stores who charge cover price is their only option. Price checking around is definitely a worthwhile decision these days!

Good or not, 18.99 is no kind of price for manga these days. Also, try buying from your comic store because some of them sell at the US price.
