Boys love and yaoi have always been the most used search terms for visitors coming to my main manga and review website, Kuriousity, so it seemed a natural fit to have a sister-of-sorts website for just such fans – thus on December 5 2009 came about Boys-Luv.com!
Much thanks and credit for the site goes to the helpful staff of Digital Manga who inspired me with their colourful, multi-imprint websites and utilized tools to create them. And more credit where it is certainly due: the gorgeous header image used above is from Fusanosuke Inariya’s Maiden Rose series which Digital Manga will release volume one of in March 2010.
While Boys-Luv.com and Kuriousity will have predominantly overlapping boys’ love related posts, there will still be site-specific material created just for here. On the sidebar you can currently find a short about page, a list of boys’ love book reviews and a release calendar for all your advance planning needs.
Though I’ve already got some work-in-progress projects and a public call for a new reviewer to join the team, I’d still love everyone’s input – what kinds of news and features are you interested in seeing on Boys-Luv.com? Let me know in the comments and help me make Boys-Luv.com the place to go for fulfilling your boys’ love kuriousity :)
I love the layout! The site looks great so far. I also appreciate your release schedules – thanks for taking the time to get the lists posted.
As far as content, I would love to see interviews with creators and publishers.
